Australian label Ksubi’s autumn-winter 2013 Lookbook, seems like the collection was inspired by religious iconography, with lots of flames, religious figures, leather, gold and studs…layered with some great denim pieces like the oversized relaxed boyfriend jeans.. red-cast light denim washes, quilted detailing like the super cute quilted patched front denim shorts….
A few years ago, I joking said to my co-workers that we should use the nature/weather to beat up organic denim, so that the whole denim distressing process will be organic and it would truly produce a true organic product…….. well… someone did it, as in the german band A Kind of Guise did…….they spent over 3 months authentically weather beating denim shirting by exposing them to the natural elements in northern Italy.
after the denim has been exposed, they were made into numbered shirts and only 100 were created.
Totally loved that someone did this and loving how it looks…. (DAMMIT!!!)
